THE LIONS MAY visit a city in the United States on their way to chasing just a second ever series win in New Zealand, The Guardian report today.
Warren Gatland’s 2013 touring squad famous stopped off for a lucrative visit to Hong Kong where the four-nation squad trained and played despite suffocating humidity.

With the tour again taking the Lions to the other side of the world, Asia is clearly not the only option. The US would reportedly be keen for the Eagles to host the tourists in either Chicago (where New Zealand played last year) or in a west coast city where the sport is growing fastest.
Lions chief Executive John Feehan was positive on the prospect of going Stateside when quizzed by The Guardian:
“If we have an extra game they’d certainly be one of the better bets,” he said, but insisted that financial benefits would not be the sole concern before taking on the All Blacks.
“It’ll be a very tough tour and we need to make sure we give the guys the best chance – we are looking at a game but it’s not necessarily in America.”
